Raw Sugar which is also called as “Sugar In Raw” is a new concept in India. During the process of refining sugar (Making Sugar white in colour) chemicals are added, like Sulfur/Lime Stone but Raw Cane Sugar is sugar cane-based, minimally refined sugar which is medium brown in colour.
It is called Raw because it does not go through the refining process, means “NO CHEMICAL TREATMENT” i.e. Sulfur & Lime Stone are added. It is not refined so it contains natural minerals i.e. Phosphorus,Calcium,Iron,Magnesium & Potassium.
